Founding AI Engineer (ML/Data)
Full-time · Fully remote (US, Canada, Europe, UK, Brazil, LATAM) · $128k to $150k per year + equity
Looking for an AI engineer who can own the full stack from raw data to shipped models. Someone who is strong across ML, data infrastructure, and LLM-powered features, and knows how to move fast without cutting corners on reliability.
What You'll Do
- Build and improve the matching engine using ML models and embeddings
- Design and maintain data pipelines that feed model training and product features
- Ship LLM-powered features into the product using frontier models
- Own evals and monitoring so models don't silently degrade
- Work directly with founders to identify the highest-leverage AI bets
You
- Proven track record across ML, data engineering, or AI systems in production
- Experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG, or agentic patterns
- Comfortable owning data pipelines alongside modeling work
- Startup or founding team experience preferred
