Looking for a scrappy, fast-moving social media marketer to grow Matcha on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, LinkedIn, and X. Someone with a proven track record of creating virality for a software product, who understands hooks and the psychology of what makes content spread, and who'd rather post ten imperfect videos today than one perfect video next week.
What You'll Do
- Own social strategy end-to-end - full autonomy on channels, formats, and tactics; the only thing that matters is impressions and conversions
- Create and post several videos a day across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Work Reddit, LinkedIn, and X too - posts, threads, and genuinely useful answers in the communities where job seekers already hang out
- Ride trends, memes, and humor alongside more polished content - whatever gets attention
- Write and test hooks, scripts, and formats to find what spreads
- Mix lifestyle content with data-driven, informative content (e.g. which companies are hiring, for what roles, in which regions) that people share because it's genuinely useful
- Prioritize volume and speed over polish - this is a numbers game, so post often and double down on what works
- Manage influencer, creator, and UGC campaigns as the channel grows
- Pitch ideas for making the product itself more shareable - results, lists, and moments people want to screenshot and post
You
- Proven track record of creating virality for a software product on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts - show us the numbers
- Scrappy and fast: comfortable shipping volume over perfection
- Strong sense for hooks and the psychology of what makes content get watched and shared
- Can create and post content daily, start to finish, with minimal hand-holding
Bonus Skills
- Track record automating video creation (combining hooks, templates, and content at scale)
- Experience managing influencer or UGC campaigns
Contract to start, part-time or full-time - flexible for the right person, and can grow from there. Fixed, performance-based, or hybrid compensation all on the table; performance-based can be very generous, with huge revenue-share upside potential.
