Describe your next role, cut the noise
Marigold Health is looking for an experienced outreach professional with a passion for recovery to join our team as an Outreach Supervisor. In this role, you’ll lead by example: you’ll stay active in the field doing outreach while coaching and supervising a team of Outreach Specialists who connect people to Marigold’s peer support app. You’ll also grow our network of provider and community partners and, when assigned, provide in-person peer recovery coaching. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who loves being out in the community and is deeply committed to mental health and substance use recovery.
\n- Lead and support a team of Outreach Specialists through weekly supervision, real-time coaching (in the field or virtually), and serving as their first point of contact for outreach questions
- Keep the team running smoothly: set schedules, approve PTO, timecards, and expense reports, and own team performance
- Help onboard and train new Outreach Specialists, reinforcing our workflows, tools, and best practices
- Get out in the community! Conduct site visits and outreach, help people enroll in Marigold, and hand them off to our Peer Support Specialists
- Build strong relationships with subcontracted providers and community organizations, and represent Marigold at provider meetings and community events
- Spot referral trends, partner feedback, and process gaps, and bring ideas for improvement to leadership
- When assigned, facilitate in-person 1:1 or group peer support, following all Peer Support supervision, documentation, and compliance standards
- Keep accurate, timely records of outreach and enrollments, and escalate safety or compliance concerns appropriately
- You have flexibility in your schedule, including early morning hours (5 - 6 AM), and evenings and weekends
- 2–3 years of experience in community outreach, healthcare engagement, or a related role
- Experience mentoring or guiding peers, and you’re ready to lead a team
- Lived experience with, or a strong understanding of, substance use and/or mental health recovery
- You’re a certified Peer Support Specialist in Delaware, or you’re actively working toward certification (training and/or supervised hours)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you can build trust with members, partners, and teammates alike
- You understand the line between recovery coaching and clinical care, and you hold healthy boundaries
- Self-starter who is highly organized and can juggle multiple priorities
- You’re willing to travel extensively across Delaware (up to ~75%)
- You thrive working independently in a dynamic and exciting startup environment
...And it would be nice if you have:
- Active Peer Support Specialist certification
- Experience facilitating groups or providing peer support services
- Experience in behavioral health or substance use recovery settings
- Experience coordinating outreach programs or team activities
- Familiarity with digital health platforms
- You will report to the Director of Partnership Success, working closely with our Chief Medical Officer
- Full-time, exempt position
- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
- Equity
- Accrual of 20 days of PTO
- 9 days of sick time
- 8 paid company holidays and 2 floating holidays
- Company-paid health insurance premiums and 70% coverage of premiums for any dependents
- A dedicated mental health benefit - $250 per quarter
- FSA and/or HSA
- Access to a 401k
- A subscription for TalkSpace
