Senior .NET Developer - Remote - 3 Months - Octopus by RTG - Immediate Hire

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, backend development, software architecture, and database management, with the ability to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using .NET and C#.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Design and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions and architectural improvements.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in .NET and C#.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core and Web API development.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming (OOP), and software design principles.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, and automated testing practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team.
