Our mission is to empower the changemaker in all of us. We believe giving should be fun, so you’ll want to do it again, and we also believe that work should be fun, so that you’ll have the greatest impact. We are excited to hear from talented people who want to work with other talented people in making the world a butter place—and have fun along the way.
Role Description
Givebutter is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own our CRM, Engage marketing, and Reporting tools under the banner of Givebutter Plus. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that leads a major strategic bet for the company and reports to our VP of Product & Growth.
You'll partner closely with Design and Engineering to ship tools that help the nonprofits we serve raise more, grow their donor base, and fulfill their mission more effectively. You’ll work in concert with our leadership team, go-to-market teams, and partner product teams to build Givebutter Plus into the category-defining donor management & marketing product in the nonprofit software space.
We want to hear from people who…
Have a passion for building elegant workflow software that makes busy salespeople and marketers more efficient and effective. Or in our case, the nonprofit equivalent: fundraisers & executive directors.
Intuitively grasp how to incorporate generative AI and machine learning into our products to make prospecting, donor outreach, and insight generation more effective for our nonprofit customers
Are equally at home with hard quantitative analysis and softer qualitative research. You enjoy interviewing customers, scouring product usage data, and talking to Sales & Customer Success to generate the key insights behind a winning strategy and roadmap.
Understand SaaS unit economics and their drivers, such as CAC, CLTV, ACV, and Revenue Retention. You can paint a clear picture of how your roadmap will improve our financial standing.
Value quality design and have a strong point of view about what makes for great software products.
Enjoy creating the context and conditions for talented designers and engineers to do the best work of their lives.
Responsibilities
Own the product strategy and roadmap for Givebutter’s suite of donor management, marketing, and reporting tools, balancing short-term and long-term investments to drive meaningful outcomes for customers and the business.
Drive adoption, retention, and monetization of Givebutter Plus in partnership with our Growth and Revenue teams.
Lead discovery across your product area: run customer research, synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, and frame clear problems worth solving for your design and engineering counterparts.
Define and communicate the "why" behind the work, connect product initiatives to company strategy, and ensure the team has clear success criteria.
Partner with Product Design and Engineering to build cohesive solutions; champion tasteful UX decisions and ensure we experiences ship coherently end-to-end.
Use data to guide decisions, navigate ambiguity with clear hypotheses, and build data-informed decision habits across your pod.
Align stakeholders across functions, manage tradeoffs, and keep multiple initiatives moving without sacrificing quality.
Requirements
7+ years of product management experience working on high scale B2B SaaS or consumer software products; experience with marketing technology tools a huge plus.
Demonstrated ability to own a product area end-to-end: strategy definition, roadmap execution, and driving business & customer outcomes. You can handle a lot of product breadth as an IC.
Strong analytical skills; comfortable with SQL and product analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Hex).
Superb written and verbal communication; able to simplify the complex and articulate the "why" to ICs and executives alike
Track record of building effective working relationships with Design, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Finance teams in highly cross-functional environments
Skilled at incorporating AI tools like Claude into your workflow without sacrificing quality of outputs. You don’t produce slop
Demonstrated ability to build repeatable product discovery practices across a team or pod
Experience running A/B tests and interpreting results to inform product decisions
Familiarity with nonprofit technology or the broader social good sector a bonus
