The Who, What, Where, When & Why

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our marketing team as our global Events Manager. We are looking for a US-based individual who loves to get stuck in, enjoys travel and loves organizing events and people.

You’ll work closely with our wonderfully distributed Customer team and take responsibility for running various in-person and virtual events from conferences, webinars, round tables, and maybe even parties.

To improve patient care, doctors and nurses need the most realistic opportunities to practice (especially low frequency, high-risk situations) - VR needs to be experienced.

In-person conferences allow educators and clinicians to see first-hand how it could help their learners develop and keep their skills sharp and their patients safe. Virtual events will enable us to help our clients share experiences and ideas. The events you organize will literally help improve patient care.

Who you are:

  • You are a self-starter - you like to manage your own time and workload

  • You like to travel - the idea of being able to get out there and see and document our product in action sounds like your kind of thing

  • You are very organized and proud of it - checklists are your friend, and you love making them and completing them

  • You are calm under pressure - prefer to have several plates spinning at any one time

  • You love organizing events - you may well do this for fun in your social group

  • You don’t leave things to chance - you get on and make them happen

  • You are a fantastic communicator - able to build relationships with a broad range of people (clinicians, educators, developers, students to name but a few)

  • You've 4+ years of events experience - including all logistics and stand set-up, tear-down, etc. for US conferences)

  • You enjoy managing budgets and suppliers

What you will be doing:

  • You’ll be responsible for organizing and managing the successful implementation of a range of events including conferences, webinars, round tables, high-profile demo days and filming

  • You’ll be out in the field often working closely with our Customer team ensuring the smooth running of these events

  • You’ll get to travel around the US a lot, supporting around 20 different-sized conferences or events per year

  • You’ll help manage our events budget and be responsible for managing suppliers

  • You’ll be troubleshooting at events - dealing with everything from stand set-up and tear down, wi-fi issues, or banner breakdowns

Essential

  • Organized and driven

  • Proven 4+ years experience in events coordination

  • Strong project management & logistics skills

  • Great communicator and a willing collaborator with others

  • Demonstrable interest/experience in healthcare

  • Willingness to travel often

  • Self-drive

Bonus points for the following:

  • Demonstrable interest/experience in healthcare
