About Odyssey:

Odyssey helps 7 & 8-figure e-commerce brands increase revenue, ROAS, and high-fives. With our unique understanding of messaging, targeting, media channels, and creative, we help companies find the inflection point that unlocks their next stage of growth.

We're looking for a sharp, curious analyst to become one of the go-to voices on e-commerce and performance marketing trends. This candidate can dig into data, spot what's changing in the industry, and turn it into content that builds Odyssey's reputation and pipeline.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and track trends across e-commerce, DTC, paid media, and creative to identify timely, share-worthy insights

  • Write articles, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and reports that establish Odyssey as a thought leader in performance marketing

  • Analyze platform changes (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.) and translate them into digestible takeaways for clients and prospects

  • Mine internal campaign data and case studies for stats, benchmarks, and stories that can be turned into content

  • Collaborate with leadership and account teams to surface content ideas from real client work

  • Build and maintain a regular content calendar/cadence across owned channels (blog, LinkedIn, newsletter)

  • Support the creation of sales collateral, decks, and one-pagers grounded in original data or research

  • Monitor competitors and industry publications to keep Odyssey's point of view sharp and differentiated

  • Track content performance (engagement, reach, inbound leads) and iterate based on what resonates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

  • 2-4 years of experience in a research, analyst, content marketing, or communications role, ideally at an agency, media company, or e-commerce brand

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to turn data into clear, engaging narratives

  • Comfortable working with data (spreadsheets, campaign dashboards, platform reporting) to find the story

  • Genuine interest in e-commerce, DTC brands, and digital marketing trends

  • Self-starter who can independently source, research, and ship content with minimal oversight

  • Can-do attitude is a must; this is a start-up that requires you to wear many hats and deal with a certain level of day-to-day uncertainty

  • Experience with tools like Notion, Motion, and LinkedIn analytics a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $65,000 - $90,000

  • Flexible PTO

  • Fully remote

  • 100% employer-sponsored health benefits

  • 401(k) with company matching
