Our TeamOur team consists of remarkable individuals with incredible stories. Our backgrounds vary from technology, liberal arts, public relations, grad school, and a variety of other experiences. We learn fast, adapt quickly to change, and juggle multiple responsibilities. We’re friends, we’re committed to what we do, and we’re committed to each other. Sound appealing? We think so.
About the RoleWe're looking for a hands-on IT Manager to own our internal IT function end to end. This is a broad, high-autonomy role: you'll run the systems the company depends on every day, lead a small team, and have real ownership over how IT operates. It begins as a contract engagement with the clear intent to convert to a permanent position.
You'll be the U.S.-based owner of an IT environment spanning cloud SaaS, endpoints, identity and security, and colocated infrastructure and work alongside a capable systems-administration team.
It's a great fit for a working manager who enjoys both the hands-on technical work and the ownership of running a function: someone who brings structure, sets priorities, and keeps everything running smoothly without heavy oversight.

What you'll own

Identity, access & security
  • Own administrative access across all systems and maintain strong credential hygiene (password vaulting, second-admin coverage on critical systems).
  • DNS and domain registrar administration.
  • Endpoint security tooling (Cynet EDR/XDR) — administration and alert monitoring.
SaaS administration
  • Google Workspace (including client-facing accounts), Microsoft 365, Zoom, Gong, and Jira Service Desk.
  • Oversight of Salesforce and Planhat administration.
  • License inventory and renewal management across all SaaS vendors.
Infrastructure
  • Coordinate two colocation data centers — Dallas, TX (production and development) and Charlotte, NC (disaster recovery). Day-to-day administration is handled by the offshore team, and routine hardware maintenance is performed by the colocation providers.
  • On-site presence is rare and limited to major hardware changes (installing or decommissioning equipment).
  • Occasional troubleshooting of U.S. VPN access for distributed staff.
Endpoint & device lifecycle
  • Laptop procurement (Dell, Apple Business Manager) and device logistics for a distributed U.S. workforce.
  • Hands-on laptop setup and end-user support.
  • Mobile / carrier account administration.
Operations
  • Employee onboarding/offboarding (IT provisioning), in coordination with People/HR.
  • Vendor management and day-to-day IT operations.
Team leadership
  • Lead and support the offshore systems-administration team through its team lead; morning ET/CT hours are the daily coordination window.
  • Manage and develop the U.S. Salesforce/Planhat administrator.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in IT management or senior systems administration, including experience working with a distributed or offshore team.
  • Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace at the tenant/admin level.
  • Strong identity & access management discipline (credential vaulting, admin hygiene).
  • Endpoint management experience: Dell procurement, imaging, and end-user support.
  • DNS / registrar administration.
  • Familiarity with an EDR/XDR platform (Cynet a plus; comparable tools welcome).
  • Experience coordinating colocation / data-center operations via remote-hands.
  • Breadth across common SaaS platforms (Zoom, Gong, Jira, and similar).
  • Self-directed and organized — comfortable bringing structure to a fast-moving environment and ramping quickly.

Nice to have

  • Salesforce administration familiarity.
  • Experience supporting a company through a period of growth or organizational change.

Location & schedule

This is a fully remote, U.S.-based role with no relocation and no in-office requirement. Because our team operates on Eastern time and coordinates with colleagues abroad each morning, we require Eastern or Central time zone availability (Pacific time doesn't provide enough overlap). Devices drop-ship to employees wherever they are and are enrolled and managed remotely.
