Position Overview

iCOUNTER is seeking a highly strategic, execution-oriented Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO and COO during a period of rapid growth and organizational scaling.

 

This role is designed for an exceptional operator who thrives in high-velocity environments, excels at solving complex, ambiguous business challenges, and drives alignment across executive leadership and cross-functional teams. As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a force multiplier for the CEO, translating strategy into execution while strengthening organizational effectiveness, operational discipline, and decision-making rigor across the company.

 

You will lead critical cross-functional initiatives, that accelerate growth and scale, support board and investor engagement, and shape executive communications. In doing so, you will play a central role in establishing the operating cadence and execution engine of a high-growth, venture-backed cybersecurity company building the future of Counter Threat Operations.

The role is ideally based in Dallas-Fort Worth area to facilitate close collaboration with the CEO and executive leadership team. Candidates willing to relocate are encouraged to apply. Remote candidates will also be considered, particularly those located in Texas or New York, with the ability to travel as needed for leadership meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO and COO to drive corporate strategy, operational priorities, and organizational alignment.

  • Lead and manage high-impact cross-functional initiatives that support rapid growth, operational scale, and execution of strategic objectives.

  • Develop business cases, strategic analyses, and executive recommendations to support key business, investment, and operational decisions.

  • Track and drive accountability for company objectives, key performance indicators, and strategic initiatives, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes.

  • Support executive engagement with investors, customers, advisors, strategic partners, and other key stakeholders.

  • Prepare and coordinate board meetings, investor communications, capital raising, and strategic partner engagements.

  • Develop executive presentations, board materials, operating reviews, playbooks, and strategic communications to support leadership decision-making and business operations.

  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and business analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and strategic risks.

Required Skills

  • 5-10 years of experience in strategic consulting at a top-tier management consulting firm

  • Success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in high-growth technology environments

  • AI knowledge/skill relevant to improving productivity and client value in a corporate environment

  • Demonstrated analytical, financial modeling, and business planning capabilities

  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SaaS, enterprise software, or risk management industries

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity market dynamics, threat intelligence, third-party risk management, or AI-driven security solutions

  • Experience supporting board operations, fundraising, investor relations, or corporate development initiatives

  • MBA or advanced business degree a plus

  • Prior experience working in venture-backed or high-growth startup environments a plus
