Staffing Intern - Recruiting & Talent

Asendia AI is an AI-powered recruiting platform that helps staffing firms find, engage, and place candidates more efficiently. We’re one of the fastest-growing startups in our YC batch and recently raised an oversubscribed seed round backed by leading investors.

We’re growing quickly and looking for a Staffing Intern to work closely with our founders and help us hire exceptional people across engineering, sales, marketing, and other roles.

This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how recruiting works inside a fast-growing AI startup while taking real ownership of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify strong candidates for open roles
• Review applications and résumés and help build candidate shortlists
• Reach out to candidates through LinkedIn, email, and other channels
• Conduct initial candidate screening and help evaluate fit
• Coordinate interviews between candidates, founders, and team members
• Keep our recruiting pipeline and candidate information organized and up to date
• Follow up with candidates throughout the interview process
• Research new sourcing channels, communities, and recruiting strategies
• Help improve our job descriptions, outreach messages, and hiring processes
• Support the founders with day-to-day recruiting and hiring priorities

What We’re Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable reaching out to and speaking with candidates
• Proactive and able to take ownership without constant direction
• Interest in recruiting, staffing, AI, and startups
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous recruiting, sourcing, HR, or staffing experience is a plus, but not required
