Compensation: $40,000 - $52,000 / year

Description

We are seeking a hands-on Revenue Cycle Specialist to own day-to-day accounts receivable operations working with health plans.  This is an opportunity to make a big impact in a small team by driving efficient systems, clean data, and scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Submitting medical claims to health plans and generating payer invoices.
• Generate and send customer invoices based on service agreements or order volume.
• Apply incoming payments and monitor AR aging reports.
• Follow up on past-due accounts and communicate professionally with clients about outstanding balances.
• Support revenue recognition processes and collaborate with BD or operations on billing accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management
• Minimum of 3 years of experience submitting medical claims and appealing denials.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude and startup mindset.
