About the team:
As the Partnerships Lead at CGS, you will lead key partner programs and initiatives within our U.S. public sector business. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end partner relationships and cross-functional programs. You will work directly with Account Executives, Federal System Integrators (FSIs), resellers, and strategic partners to drive pipeline generation and revenue alignment across key government programs. You will build influential relationships with peers, clients, and external stakeholders, applying specialized domain expertise to convert strategy into actionable, high-impact results.
In this role, you’ll:
Lead specific projects and partner programs within the CGS ecosystem, aligning channel strategies with account teams and sales leadership.
Execute joint Go-To-Market (GTM) plans with strategic FSIs, technical partners, resellers, and alliance partners to drive measurable revenue growth and pipeline expansion.
Apply research, qualitative/quantitative data, and critical thinking to deconstruct complex operational challenges, identify pipeline trends, and optimize partner program performance.
Establish influential, effective working relationships with internal direct sales teams, services units, and external partner stakeholders.
Convey technical, process, and program information clearly and precisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across government and partner organizations.
Collaborate across cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems, leverage innovative partner engagement approaches, and enhance overall program performance.
Track and report on key program KPIs, such as partner-generated pipeline and revenue metrics.
Provide informal guidance, coaching, and support to allied internal teams and entry-level team members on partner workflows and practices.
Operate with limited supervision under general direction and high-level objectives.
Qualifications:
5–8+ years of professional experience in strategic data- and SaaS–focused partnerships, channel sales, or alliance management within high-growth tech or public sector sales environments.
Recognized domain expertise in public sector partner ecosystems, with direct experience working alongside Federal System Integrators (FSIs), resellers, or advisory firms. Experience with classified USG customers is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs of moderate scope, translate high-level strategies into clear operational steps, and manage multiple stakeholder priorities simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking capabilities—able to leverage multiple sources of data to evaluate issues, recommend corrective actions, and resolve operational blockers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building solid working relationships across internal departments and external partner networks.
Ability to articulate complex technical and process details in a clear, precise manner tailored to diverse audiences.
High autonomy and self-starter mindset; comfortable operating under general direction to achieve defined business objectives.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
